GROW Team Administrative Assistant
Cross Community Church in Beaufort, SC is seeking a GROW Team Administrative Assistant to oversee all of the administrative functions of the discipleship and pastoral care processes (GROW).
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of full-time administrative experience, church or ministry setting experience preferred. The candidate must be a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven individual who is able to quickly adapt to the dynamic and unpredictable nature of ministry. Additionally, candidates must be able to joyfully affirm and champion all essential doctrines and theological distinctives upheld by the church.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
OVERVIEW In line with the mission and vision of Cross Community Church to preach the Gospel and make disciples, the Grow Team Administrative Assistant will, first and foremost, be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. They will assist the Pastor of Spiritual Formation (PSF) and the Pastor of Teaching and Theologian in Residence (PTTR) in all administrative needs.

- Be a faithful follower of Jesus.
- Be a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent administrative skills and comfortable using Microsoft, Apple, and Google platforms.
- Have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
Oversight/Accountability
- The Grow Team Administrative Assistant will work under the direct oversight of PSF and the PTTR. As all staff, the GROW Team Admin is ultimately responsible to the Lead Pastor and Elders of Cross Community Church.
- S/He will work closely alongside the Pastor of Congregational Care and the Women’s Discipleship Director.

- Maintain the overall administrative structure of Community Groups
- Provide ownership of New Leader training administration.
2. Core Groups
- Maintain the overall administrative structure of Core Groups.
3. Care Team
- Maintain the overall administrative structure of Congregational Care
4. Counseling Team
- Provide counseling intake administrative support
- Provide logistical support to Counselors
5. Teaching and Bible Studies
- Maintain the overall administrative structure of Bible Studies and all teaching classes.
- Coordinate all administrative and logistical elements of CROSSpointe classes.
Administrative Functions Pertaining to Pastor of Spiritual Formation and the Pastor of Teaching & Theologian in Residence.
- Fulfill the administrative needs of the Pastor of Spiritual Formation and the Pastor of Teaching & Theologian in Residence (emails, phone calls, meeting requests, etc.)
- Serve as a “gatekeeper” while addressing all inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Coordinate logistical details of all meetings, classes, and events led by the Pastor of Spiritual Formation and the Pastor of Teaching & Theologian in Residence.
- Coordinate all administrative elements of team meetings, retreats, and events.
